Engine and wheels

We are now into August 2021 and finally the engine has arrived. It is a 5.3litre LS motor from a Silverado, with only 110,000 miles on it. The good news is that we don’t have to do anything to the firewall to make it fit, it seems to slot straight in as if it were made for it.

The rims arrived in mid September and they are custom made 17” steel wheels, slightly wider at the rear and to take a lower profile tyre than the original ones.
